When possible, we try to save natural teeth. However, an extraction may be recommended when a tooth is severely damaged, infected, loose, impacted, or causing problems for nearby teeth.
We use careful planning and local anesthetic to help keep you comfortable. After the tooth is removed, we provide instructions for healing and discuss replacement options when appropriate.
Planning Beyond the Extraction
If the tooth affects your bite or smile, we can review options such as bridges, dentures, or implants to restore function.
